Sassafras Yacht Sales: Key Benefits for Buyers

Many brokers will simply try to convince you to buy a boat in their inventory, a boat which sometimes meets the broker's needs better than it does yours! We work with the client to establish criteria for a boat purchase which have evolved from a thorough examination of available options in the time frame that we both agree is reasonable and in the geographically defined area that we both establish.

We are members of the Yacht Brokers Association of America which is an indication of our desire to treat people fairly and honestly.

We are members of the primary intra-industry boats-for-sale electronic database which contains the listings of over 700 major brokers worldwide. There are usually about 12000 boats for sale in the database.

We are fully prepared to represent the buyer in a transaction, as long as it is not for a boat listed with our firm (since we have, in that case, already agreed to represent the seller primarily). This means we will treat your interests as paramount. This may be much different than the normal salesman-customer relationship you have experienced elsewhere.

We have been in business since 1990 with brokerage contacts and experience prior to establishing our own business going back to 1982. We know the best places to place emphasis for advertising; we know others in the industry who can help sell the boat.

We are members of the Yacht Brokers Association of America which is an indication of our desire to treat people fairly and honestly and to establish clear guidelines for working with others in the industry.

We are members of the primary intra-industry boats-for-sale electronic database which contains the listings of over 700 major brokerage firms worldwide. There are usually about 12000 boats in the database. This is a very important tool for sellers as it makes the boat known to thousands of individual brokers in the industry worldwide very rapidly.

We publicize your boat "on the net" in at least three locations plus our web site.

We primarily represent the seller in a transaction involving the sale of one of the boats listed with our firm. This means we will treat your interests, not ours or the buyer's, as paramount. We will not try to force you into accepting a bad deal just to meet our appetite for money.
